Rafael Nadal Continues a Good Year for the Veterans

MELBOURNE — Rafael Nadal dominated third-seeded Milos Raonic, 6-4, 7-6 (7), 6-4, on Wednesday to join 35-year-old Roger Federer and 31-year-old Stan Wawrinka in the semifinals. It’s the first time since the 1968 French Open that three 30-somethings made the men’s semifinals at a Grand Slam.

Nadal, 30, will play Grigor Dimitrov, 25, who beat No. 11 David Goffin.
