Qualifying for the 2015 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix continued on Sunday as 16 players fought to make their way into the final stage of qualifiying. As usual in Stuttgart, the qualifying matches were met by plenty of fan interest as all eight encounters on Sunday were played in front of a very respectable crowd.
Unfortunately for the many fans, none of the local favorites made it into the final eight as the remaining two German players in the draw lost their second-round qualification matches on Sunday.
First, Anna-Lena Friedsam fell to Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
