The German city of Leipzig is hosting the Fed Cup tie between Germany and Switzerland this weekend, featuring the home-coming of 2016 Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber.
Kerber’s success has caused a massive spike of interest in women’s tennis her native home as the pre-event draw ceremony generated an unprecedented amount of media interest and no less than 8000 fans expected over the weekend in a sold-out arena.
