The Czech Republic has continued their amazing Fed Cup winning streak in Strasbourg on Sunday, winning their fifth Fed Cup Trophy in six years.
Coming leveled into the second day of the competition against France, the turned out to be an emotional rollercoaster for the Czech squad. After losing their third match against Caroline Garcia, there was more bad news in store as Petra Kvitova was unable to play her second match due to a right foot injury.
Instead, Barbora Strycova took over and did so in style, pulling out a straight-set win against Alize Cornet to force an all-deciding doubles match.
