Fans at the 2017 Bank of the West Classic can look forward to an All-American final this year as CoCo Vandeweghe & Madison Keys have emerged as the final two players in the packed Stanford draw.
Vandeweghe made her way into the final without dropping a single set en route, beating American youngster CiCi Bellis in straight sets on Saturday. Keys has made her first final since two wrist surgeries earlier this year, stunning Wimbledon champion Garbine Muguruza in straight sets in the semis.
The final will be the first meeting between both players, the trophy will be the first hardcourt title for the winner as both players hold two grass titles a piece, with Keys having won Birmingham & Eastbourne while Vandeweghe holds two ‘s-Hertogenbosch titles.
