The final of the 2017 Mutua Madrid Open is set as 2016 Madrid champion Simona Halep will be meeting Kristina Mladenovic in the Caja Magica on Saturday evening.
Halep punched her final ticket in the first match on Friday, getting past Anastasija Sevastova in straight sets, reaching her third consecutive Madrid final, a feat no other player has reached at the Mutua Madrid Open before.
