Thursday was an extraordinary day at the 2017 Aegon International in Eastbourne as two rain-delayed days had created a quite unique schedule.
Usually, Thursday at Eastbourne is quarter-finals day with four singles matches on the agenda. This time around, no less than 13 matches had to be played with most big-name players in action twice.
Agnieszka Radwanska was looking to play even more tennis, potentially being scheduled for three singles matches in one day. Unfortunately for the Polish Wimbledon finalist, her road already ended early in the morning, losing her first match of the day to Lauren Davis.
