The main draw of the 2015 Toray Pan Pacific Open got underway in Tokyo’s Ariake Coliseum on Monday as one of the WTA’s most traditional Premier tournaments goes into its next edition.
Held inside the Ariake Coliseum, the event has lost its Premier 5 status to Wuhan last year. Nevertheless, even the Premier-level tournament still manages to attract plenty of great players into the Japanese capital as Ana Ivanovic, Angelique Kerber, Caroline Wozniacki and plenty of others have signed up to play the 2015 edition of the event.
