We all have to take a step back, run the analytics and recognize that Rafael Nadal's dominance on the surface of truth—clay—is one of the greatest achievements in the history of sport. Akin to the great American racehorse Secretariat—an athlete simply on a level far above even the elite of the sport—but alo with longevity, mental toughness and perseverance.
