Andy Murray showed no ill-effects from his late finish in the previous round as he stormed through to the quarter-finals of the Mutua Madrid Open with a quick-fire victory over Marcel Granollers.
Murray did not get off court until around 3am local time on Thursday morning, after his second-round match with Philipp Kohlschreiber was delayed, and he was then back in action again with a clash against wild card Granollers on Thursday evening.
However, the world No3 did not seem unduly bothered about having to play twice on the same day as he brushed aside Granollers 6-2, 6-0 in just 65 minutes.
