Following Roland Garros, Anett Kontaveit of Estonia has ascended to a career-high WTA ranking of No.2, but on the same day her coach Dimitry Tursunov announced the end of their cooperation.
“Feel proud of the work I put in and a bit sad but sometimes good things must come to an end,” Tursunov wrote on Twitter on Monday morning, as he announced the split. He congratulated Kontaveit on her new ranking accomplishment and thanked her for the opportunity to work with her.
