World number one Iga Swiatek further cleared her path towards the French Open title by knocking out 11th seed Jessica Pegula in the quarter-finals.
Swiatek, 21, is the hot favourite for the clay-court Grand Slam event and won 6-3 6-2 to reach the last four.
Behind the Polish top seed, 28-year-old Pegula was the highest ranked player left in the women's singles.
Daria Kasatkina, seeded 20th, meets Swiatek after a 6-4 7-6 (7-5) win over Veronika Kudermetova.
It will be the 2014 junior champion's first senior Grand Slam semi-final.
Not for a while has there been a favourite as strong for a Grand Slam women's singles title as 2020 Roland Garros champion Swiatek.
