French Open 2020: Liam Broady qualifies for main draw but Harriet Dart loses

Britain's Liam Broady qualified for the French Open for the first time with a straight-set win over Australian 12th seed Marc Polmans.

The 26-year-old won 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 in the final qualifying round and has not dropped a set in all three matches.

Broady joins compatriots Andy Murray, Dan Evans, Cameron Norrie and Kyle Edmund at the clay-court Grand Slam, which starts on Sunday.

They find out their first opponents in Thursday's draw (17:00 BST).

Britain's Harriet Dart will not be in the draw after losing her second-round qualifying match to Romania's Irina Bara 7-5 6-2.
