Roger Federer won Sunday's Istanbul Open final, recording the 85th title of his professional career and his first clay-court success in three years.
The Swiss world number two beat Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas 6-3 7-6 (13-11).
Cuevas - ranked 23 in the world - tested Federer in the second set but twice had to call for the trainer to treat an injured wrist.
"It's been a while since I won a title on clay, " said Federer. "It's been a pleasure playing here."
Federer, 33, took a 4-1 lead early on with some precise hitting and Cuevas's unforced errors cost him the set.
