Great Britain's Fed Cup World Group II play-off in Romania was suspended during Saturday's singles with Johanna Konta in tears.
Play was halted after the hosts' captain Ilie Nastase had been sent off.
Nastase caused controversy in the build-up to the tie after being heard making a derogatory comment about Serena Williams' unborn child.
Romania player Simon Halep spoke to the crowd after play was suspended to try to calm the situation down.
