TORONTO — Canada's Eugenie Bouchard will be coached by Marko Dragic at the Rogers Cup, splitting with Sam Sumyk after six months and a drop in the rankings.
Bouchard fell from No. 7 to No. 26 in the world, exiting from tournaments in the early rounds this season. Last year, she advanced to the semifinals at her first three Grand Slam events, reaching the Wimbledon final under longtime coach Nick Saviano.
"I just feel like I haven't been quite myself, my confident, aggressive game lately and that's something that I've been working on very hard in practice," Bouchard said at a news conference Friday.
