BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Carlos Berlocq and Leonardo Mayer defeated Serbia's Viktor Troicki and Nenad Zimonjic 6-2, 6-4, 6-1 on Saturday, sending host Argentina back to the Davis Cup semifinals and keeping it on track for its first title.
Argentina will travel in September to Belgium, which defeated Canada 3-0 to make it to the semis for the first time since 1999.
Berlocq and Mayer dominated, and didn't concede a single break point to the Serbs in the clay-court match.
Both captains made changes to their doubles team, as Argentina's Diego Schwartzman and Serbia's Dusan Lajovic were originally scheduled to play.
