HANNOVER, Germany — Philipp Kohlschreiber and debutant Alexander Zverev will open for Germany against the Czech Republic's Lukas Rosol and Tomas Berdych in their Davis Cup first round tie Friday.
German No. 1 Kohlschreiber, ranked 30th, will play Rosol first before the 18-year-old Zverev takes on the world's No. 7 Berdych, playing for the first time since the 2014 semifinals.
Dustin Brown, set to play his second tie for Germany, was drawn with Philipp Petzschner against Radek Stepanek and Jiri Vesely in Saturday's doubles.
Kohlschreiber and Berdych were to clash Sunday before Zverev plays Rosol for the potential decider.
