STOCKHOLM — Top-seeded Tomas Berdych won the Stockholm Open for a third time on Sunday, beating American Jack Sock 7-6 (1), 6-2 in the final.
Berdych didn't drop a set in the tournament and secured his second title of the year after winning in Shenzhen last month.
Sock was up a break in the first set but failed to serve it out at 5-4, and Berdych then dominated the tiebreaker. The Czech player didn't face a break point in the second set, winning all 12 points on his first serve.
Berdych, who had already qualified for the season-ending ATP tour finals, said "I've definitely built up a good history here, which always helps.
