Recent period has been extremely successful for Sania Mirza, as the famous Indian teamed up with legendary Martina Hingis in early March and has since won four women's doubles titles, including at Wimbledon, and climbed to No.1 in doubles rankings, becoming the first Indian woman to achieve that feat. The milestone was added to Mirza's big accomplishment from 2007, when she rose to No.27 in singles, the highest singles ranking for an Indian woman. All this makes me really glad to feature Mirza in Women's Tennis Blog's Little Tennis Stars series.
