Wednesday at the 2015 Rogers Cup in Toronto was all about the second-round matchup between Victoria Azarenka and Petra Kvitova.
The two double-slam champions last played each other all the way back in October 2011, almost four years ago, making this one of the WTA’s most elusive matchups, especially since Azarenka’s rise to #1 and to being a two-time Australian Open champion was still a thing of the future when they last met in Istanbul of 2011.
