Unseeded Anett Kontaveit of Estonia beat fourth seed Maria Sakkari of Greece in the J&T Banka Ostrava Open final 6-2 7-5, charing to her third and biggest WTA title without dropping a set.
The world No.30 Kontaveit faced just one break point in the final of the WTA 500 event. The 25-year-old has now recorded 31 match wins and six Top 20 victories in 2021.
Earlier this week, Kontaveit broke serve 14 times across wins over Sorana Cirstea in the first round, ninth seed Paula Badosa in the second round and third seed Belinda Bencic in the quarterfinals.
