Amélie Mauresmo will be at Wimbledon for Andy Murray. The Scot’s French coach, who is due to give birth to her first child in August, consulted her doctor on Friday night and was satisfied she would not be inconvenienced travelling to the tournament that starts on 29 June.
Murray, who drew a qualifier on Saturday for the first round at Queen’s on Tuesday, was delighted with the news.
“Amélie will be at Wimbledon,” he said after a short practice there on Saturday, “but we’d never planned on her coming here this year.
