Andy Murray beats Roberto Bautista Agut to win Shanghai Masters

Andy Murray has beaten Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets to win the Shanghai Masters and edge closer to Novak Djokovic at the top of the world rankings.

The Briton recovered from a stutter towards the end of the first set to win 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 against his Spanish opponent.

Bautista Agut beat Serb Djokovic in the semi-finals on Saturday, but Murray proved too strong.
