Amelie Mauresmo Inducted Into Tennis Hall of Fame

NEWPORT, R.I. — Amelie Mauresmo has been inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Mauresmo headed the 2015 class Saturday during a 75-minute ceremony on the grass courts.

Joining Mauresmo were six-time Paralympic medalist David Hall of Australia and Nancy Jeffett, elected in the contributor category.

The 36-year-old Mauresmo is expecting her first child in early August and was unable to travel to the ceremony. The Frenchwoman was presented by 1987 Hall of Famer Stan Smith.
