Sunday at the 2015 AEGON Classic provided an interesting mix of qualifying action and first-round play as the traditional grass tournament on the British seaside went into its second day of competition.
Thankfully for the plenty of tennis fans, the horrible weather forecast could not have been more wrong as it was warm and sunny all day. Still, the conditions were quite challenging for the players as a stiff sea-breeze was rocking the venue all day, making serving extra tricky.

Eight qualifiers made their way into the main draw as Magdalena Rybarikova, Lauren Davis, Irina Falconi, Christina McHale, Marina Erakovic, Polona Hercog, Alexandra Dulgheru & Jarmila Gajdosova all punched their ticket for the tournament’s main event.
