Well the 4th best major in tennis is coming to a close soon, and it's about time to get some picks and previews.
The men's semis are a tale of two different stories.
(2) Rafael Nadal vs. (6) David Ferrer
On one hand you've got David Ferrer (the little pitbull that could) and the best tennis player on clay, ever, Rafa Nadal. Nadal has yet to lose a set in the tournament, but he does that nearly every year. Ferrer, however, is in his first French Open semi. And his chances of reaching his first major final are 0.01%. He's got a tiny tiny tiny chance. And by tiny I mean, he'll need Nadal to get hurt to beat him. Nadal will beat the wall that is David Ferrer, by doing what he's always done, hit large kicking serves, and wearing Ferrer down hitting left and right.
The pick: Rafael Nadal into the final 7-5 6-4 6-3
(1) Novak Djokovic vs. (3) Roger Federer
This is a rematch of last year's FO semi, where Federer showed Novak what he was all about, ending the Serb's 41 match winning streak in 4 sets. Djokovic has played sloppy this year, but so has Federer, both have battled back from 2 sets to Love deficits. This year it really is a guess to see who will win.
The Pick: Federer in 4 close sets, 7-6 4-6 6-4 6-4
Federer vs. Nadal in the Final for the second year in a row.
