Tennessee interim head coach Brady Hoke will have his first game in that role on Saturday when the Vols host LSU, and addressed a pressing question regarding what he will do on the sidelines.
Will he wear a headset?
Brady Hoke: I’m gonna wear a headset Saturday.

Almost all coaches wear headsets in order to communicate quickly with other members of the coaching staff, but Hoke never wore one during his tenure as Michigan's head coach.
"It is overrated," Hoke said of wearing a headset in 2012. "You ever watch guys on head sets and they don't say a word? This gives me an opportunity to coach kids during a game.
"The game is a mental game, it's a game of motivation and enthusiasm and teaching. Not wearing a headset, I get to teach on the sideline and be a part of it."
However, as Michigan struggled during his last two years in charge, Hoke's lack of a headset became a major issue and sticking point among fans who criticized him for "not actually coaching."
Hoke was 31-20 in four seasons at Michigan, but his record decreased every season, ending with a 5-7 mark in 2014.
