The Tennessee head coaching rumor mill has been full steam ahead since Butch Jones was fired after a 50-17 loss to Missouri. This rumor mill for Tennessee has truly turned into the Grumor mill because all we having been hearing is Jon Gruden will be coaching in Tennessee next season. After Tennessee's athletic director John Currie took an interesting trip to a certain city in the United States and Gruden made a Tennessee reference in a recent interview, this is making us here at Chat Sports think this Grumor may be coming true.

John Currie Flew To Tampa
That city I was referencing above that Currie flew to was Tampa, which just happens to be the city Gruden lives in. According to a report from 247Sports, Currie was pitching the Tennessee job to Jon Gruden. It is also reported that Gruden has been given a deadline on whether or not he will be on the sidelines coaching the Vols.
Gruden hasn't coached since 2008 with the Buccaneers and hasn't coached college football since 1991. Even though he hasn't coached Gruden has plenty of ties at Tennessee and is a very well respected football coach.
Jon Gruden "Rocky Top" Reference
Every year Gruden's name is brought up and the Grumors start spreading. Now it appears that Gruden himself is starting to spread the Grumors. In an interview with ESPN 710 in Seattle Gruden made a Tennessee reference which is really starting the Grumor train:

It sounds like there may be more to this story and hearing it from Gruden himself is fueling the fire that is Jon Gruden going to Tennessee.
