It was a matter of timing, three-star defensive end Kayode Oladele said of his decommitment from Florida State last month.
“It was tough on me because Florida State is a school I really like,” Oladele told GN. “It was really hard for me, but I had to do what I had to do. I feel like I committed way too early and didn’t feel all the schools out. So that is why I decommitted.”
Oladele (6 feet 4, 235 pounds), originally from Nigeria, will attend small-school power Hialeah (Fla.) Champagnat Catholic this year. He had attended Miami Edison.
