Will Jeremy Pruitt have ‘chicken skin’ when leading Vols into Neyland for debut?

Jeremy Pruitt was asked Wednesday on the Southeastern Conference coaches’ teleconference about the presence of “chicken skin” for his debut game inside Neyland Stadium as Tennessee’s head coach.

Normally slowing for nothing, Pruitt needed a moment to gather his thoughts.

“I ain’t got no idea,” Pruitt said before the questioner called it “goosebumps.” “I’ll tell you what, for me before any game, it’s really why you put in all your work in the offseason, what you work for is the games.

“For me, definitely running out on Neyland Stadium. I get goose bumps running out on the practice field, I love to compete.
