Tennessee is ready to roll in Omaha, set to play for a National Championship. The Volunteers are looking for their first ever national title in Baseball, and they’ll have to go through another one of the SEC’s best teams to do it. Texas A&M stands in their way, and so does Tony Vitello’s old boss.
Jim Schlossnagle had Vitello as an assistant from 2011-13 during his time at TCU, creating another layer to this three-game series.
On Friday, Vitello spoke with the media before the games begin on Saturday night.
