Josh Dobbs is clearly not going to be the starter this year for the Pittsburgh Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger still on the team.
But given Roethlisberger’s history as an injury prone quarterback, the ineffectiveness of his recent backups, and the fact that he’s getting old and could retire soon, fighting for the second string spot is more crucial this year than ever before for a Steelers backup.
And it looks like the former Vols quarterback is taking his role seriously.
