Even after they left, the Vols and the Yellow Jackets had plenty of meetings. It makes sense considering the fact that they’re only about three hours apart.
The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic is clearly trying to recreate the hype behind that rivalry with its new video, promoting the game between the two schools in Atlanta at the newly constructed Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Labor Day.
It may be a big of an anti-climactic game since it follows Alabama vs Florida State, Saturday’s game in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic.
