The Tennessee Volunteers have signed three-star receiver Jerrod Means out of Lovejoy High in Hampton, Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 212-pound receiver fielded additional offers from Georgia, Connecticut, Rutgers, North Carolina, and many others. He is the 194th-ranked receiver in Georgia and the 315th-ranked receiver in the nation.
Means committed to North Carolina a little over a month ago, but it wasn’t enough to hold his interest in the long-term. He concluded his final visit to Knoxville just three days ago, so that had to have figured in to his decision.
This is just one of the many dominoes expected to fall for Tennessee during the early signing period.
