For the fourth time this season, the Tennessee Vols held a fourth quarter lead but failed to come away with a win.
Tennessee led Alabama 14-13 in the fourth quarter on Saturday. The Crimson Tide, however, scored a touchdown with under two minutes to play and then forced a Vol turnover to preserve Alabama’s ninth straight win over UT.
The Vols, however, have no reason to hang their heads. They played extremely well on the road and unfortunately they came up just a bit short.
I know Vol fans are tired of hearing the “so close” narrative.
