Tennessee Volunteers redshirt freshman lineman Charles Mosley was arrested early yesterday morning on charges of speeding and what is being called “first-offense DUI,” according to Ben Frederickson of the Knoxville News-Sentinel.
The arresting officer stated that he pulled Mosley over for going 79 in a 55 mph zone and detected the smell of marijuana in the vehicle. Mosley claimed he had not been smoking and that only his friends were, but failed a field sobriety test and marijuana residue was later found on the seats of the car. Mosley was released on bond later in the morning and will be back in court on July 29.
