Former Tennessee running back Ty Chandler has made his decision. He’ll be joining Mack Brown’s North Carolina Tar Heels for his final season of college football.
Chandler made the announcement on Tuesday, while former Tennessee assistant Robert Gillespie welcomed him.
Chandler fell clearly behind Eric Gray on the depth chart at the close of the 2019 season. With Cody Brown and Tiyon Evans entering the picture next season, Chandler opted to look around for a better opportunity.
North Carolina is looking to replace production from Javante Williams and Michael Carter in 2021.
