It was a pretty lean year in terms of NFL talent for the Tennessee Volunteers in 2018. Tennessee was shut out of the 2019 NFL Draft and saw only four players sign undrafted free agent deals afterwards.
However, one more from this class will get an opportunity in an NFL minicamp. Quarterback Keller Chryst was listed on the Steelers’ minicamp roster which was released on Friday. The former Stanford passer transferred to Tennessee for his senior season, looking for an opportunity to play. That didn’t happen, however, as Chryst lost the battle to Jarrett Guarantano.
