Josh Heupel is still finding his footing as the man in charge of Tennessee football, attempting to strengthen relationships in the home state. In-state recruiting has been a topic of conversation since the final years of the Butch Jones era, with the Volunteers missing out on several top talents coming out of the Volunteer state. It’s something that won’t be fixed overnight, and ultimately will come down to putting a great on-field product on grass each fall.
