Tennessee has a long history of going to bowl games, dating back to the 1939 Orange Bowl, when they beat the Oklahoma Sooners 17-0.
They have started from there to eventually play in 50 total bowl games, with their 51st appearance coming up on the first of next month.
Throughout their history with their 26-24 record, the Vols have had some incredible bowl victories that are etched in the memories of Tennessee football fans forever.
We have to take some of the victories with a grain of salt because, in all honesty, the bowl games did not matter until after the 1967 season, when the polls began to be released after they were played.
