On Wednesday, Tennessee lost a veteran to the transfer portal. It’s that time of year where veteran players start to see the writing on the wall and begin to look elsewhere for opportunities to play.
Jordan Allen is doing that with one year of eligibility remaining. He announced his move via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
Allen is a former JUCO prospect and was a part of Jeremy Pruitt’s first class at Tennessee. He was signed as an outside linebacker, but failed to find the field as anything more than a special teams contributor.
