Tennessee’s season opener with UT Martin has been canceled

The wait continues.

After scheduling a new opening game with UT Martin on Tuesday, Tennessee has now announced that the game has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 results from UTM.

Due to positive tests within the UT-Martin program, Wednesday’s contest has been canceled.

It’s the fifth canceled game for Tennessee in the last two weeks.
