Tennessee’s Jalen Hurd needs only one leg to squat over 250 pounds

Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd has shown in the past that he doesn’t lack for athleticism. But on Monday, he revealed that he may be even stronger than we thought.

Hurd, who will be a junior this season, posted an Instagram video of himself on Monday doing 255-pound single-leg squats to conclude his workout for the day. The 255 pounds excluded the chains on each end of the barbell, Hurd wrote in the video’s caption.

Hurd’s legs on his 6-foot-4, 240-pound frame helped him rush for 1,285 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and appear ready for more again in 2016.
