KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Tennessee defensive tackle Danny O'Brien has been reinstated after serving a two-game suspension for what Volunteers coach Butch Jones described as a violation of team rules and policies.
Jones said Monday that O'Brien still must earn his way back into a spot on the travel roster and onto the field and added that the junior ''understands the parameters and guidelines.''
Tennessee (2-1, 0-0 SEC) plays at Florida (3-0, 1-0) on Saturday.
O'Brien's suspension was announced Sept. 9.
