Well, that was fun. The Tennessee Volunteers got off to an easy 1-0 start on the 2017-2018 season tonight, getting a win over Presbyterian. Here’s how it happened.

After allowing the first bucket of the game to Presbyterian, Tennessee went on a 28-0 run to take a commanding lead. Needless to say, they never looked back after that.

Guard Jordan Bowden was the man that spearheaded things for the Vols. He started 5-5 from the field, including going 2-2 from three point range. He had 12 points during the 28-0 run. Freshman forward Derrick Walker made his debut, scoring on his first two attempts from the field.
