Joshua Dobbs had two touchdown runs and one huge 75-yard touchdown pass to Josh Malone as the Tennessee Volunteers took a 24-14 lead into halftime over the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington Saturday night.
The pass to Malone gave the Vols a 17-14 lead over the Wildcats over halfway through the second quarter, and a big run by Alvin Kamara to the Kentucky one-yard line on the next drive set up another touchdown run by Dobbs.
Dobbs’s three touchdowns made up for when he spotted the Wildcats their first touchdown on a fumble return he had deep in Kentucky territory, which gave them a 7-0 lead at the time.
