Butch Jones opened his Wednesday press conference with some bad news for Tennessee fans as the coach announced starting junior defensive tackle Danny O'Brien has been suspended indefinitely and will not play in the Oklahoma game.

JONES: Dan O'Brien has been suspended for violation of team policies. He will miss OU game. There is no timetable for his return

O'Brien's loss leaves the Vols thin on experienced interior defensive linemen but should open the door for freshmen Shy Tuttle and Kahlil McKenzie to see the field more often.
