If you were looking for some rock solid answers on the Tennessee depth chart ahead of the opener against South Carolina, well — sorry.
The Tennessee staff didn’t answer many questions today, releasing a depth chart filled with -or- designations, as usual ahead of week one. The tight end position lists three options, the backup quarterback position has three options and almost no true freshmen appear on the chart.
Cade Mays, who is awaiting final clearance from the SEC, was not listed.
