One of the highest rated prospects on Tennessee’s board during the 2020 recruiting cycle is Reggie Grimes, a five-star pass rusher out of Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The 6-4, 240 pound edge prospect is an Alabama legacy, but the Vols have been working on eating into the Tide’s lead for Grimes since Jeremy Pruitt arrived at Tennessee.
On Monday, Tennessee cracked the top six for Grimes. Alabama, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina and Vanderbilt joined the Vols.
Interestingly enough, Clemson wasn’t on the list. Grimes explained why, saying that the Tigers were full at the position.
